Introduction

The interaction between Nutrition and Sport is widely recognised. There have been a large number of studies that show the relationship between nutritional intake and its effects on physical activities, be it for leisure or for high level performances. This guide is intended to be a general introduction to the subject of Sports Nutrition. It is not to be seen as an exhaustive guide. It is aimed at students at undergraduate level and for researchers.
