Leisure

Introduction

This guide aims to be a very general introduction to literature in leisure and will highlight some of its principal texts and resources. It is not to be seen as an exhaustive guide. It is aimed at students at undergraduate level and for researchers. If the resources listed are not available in your library please ask staff for advice.

Developed by the Sport Information Resource Centre (SIRC), SPORTDiscus covers both the practical and research literature on sport, physical fitness and physical education. It indexes periodical articles, books, conference proceedings, dissertations and theses, research papers and other publishing forms. It also includes HERACLES, a French-language bibliographic database covering sport, physical education and fitness.
