SPRIG is an organisation which promotes information sources in hospitality, leisure, sport and tourism.

"SPRIG represents all those who have an interest in information relating to hospitality, leisure, sport and tourism. SPRIG is relevant to those who work in libraries and information services, research students, academics, publishers and to practitioners in the field who use information resources"

SPRIG Event 2010

SPRIG inSPAration : resources for spa and health tourism and will take place at the Buxton campus of the University of Derby on Friday 30th July 2010. The exact programme has still to be confirmed but the day will start at 10.30 with the SPRIG AGM, and as well as speakers will include a discussion session about social media in the library, and a tour of the campus. Refreshments and lunch are included and the event is free to SPRIG members.
